  • Indian Summer Festival – 10/4. Pony rides, performers and games! Bring clothes to make a scarecrow. Castaldo Park, Woodridge.
  • Fall Bulb Festival – 10/9-11. Shop from over 225 varieties of bulbs, live music, cider, wine, beer and fall treats for purchase. 10AM – 4 PM. Chicago Botanic Garden, Glencoe.
  • St. Charles Scarecrow Stroll – 10/9-11. Scarecrows displayed around town, Drive-In Concert, scavenger hunt throughout the downtown. St. Charles.
  • Wheaton Art Festival – 10/10-11. Juried artists from around the world in a variety of mediums. 10AM- 5PM. Downtown Wheaton.
  • Cantigny Fall Festival – 10/10. Celebrate at Cantigny with harvest-time fun for all ages! Food and shopping, too. 10 AM – 4 PM. Wheaton.
  • Burgoo Festival 10/10-11 The Burgoo Festival is an annual village street party featuring flea marketers, craftsmen, musicians, and other entertainment. Utica.
  • Autumn Drive, Woodstock to Marengo – 10/16-18. Progressive festival with barnyards, farmhouse doors and studios open to the public. Garage and antique sales.
  • Cider and Ale Festival – 10/17. Hard cider and seasonal beers from 50 local breweries and cideries. Bring a lawn chair and listen to live music. 1 – 5 PM. Morton Arboretum, Lisle.
  • Fall Colors Weekend – 10/17-18. View spectacular fall colors with guided hikes. Starved Rock State Park, Utica.
  • Fall Festival at the Promenade 10/23-25. 50+ vendors, crafters, artisans, and food companies set up on Sandburg and Row. Vendors will have candy to hand out. Bolingbrook.
